Part of the Moksha Festival 2014

About The Moksha Trilogy

The Moksha Trilogy is a series of plays inspired by the characters from the Mahabharatha. By giving life to the central characters, the plays aim to debunk the myths and mystery surrounding them and capture the true essence of their stories and the lives they led.

  • Bhishma – The Grandsire (2011)

A celibate warrior who stood the test of time, burdened with the continuity of a throne that wrought discord and bloodshed on those who were dear to him…

  • Sakuni – Let The Game Begin (2012)

A cunning game master who orchestrated the start of the greatest war on earth, but could not control the workings of karma on his own destiny…

  • Stree – The Voices Within (2014)

An enigmatic dancer who lived in the shadows of serfdom, forced to hide a weapon that promised great victories in the folds of her feminity…
